Venerable Catherine McAuley

Despite the anti-Catholic culture of her time, Catherine McAuley invited the people of Dublin to experience a Christian view of the world – caring for the poor and respecting the dignity of every person. She founded the Sisters of Mercy who continue her legacy of love and care for those in need today.
